The San José Declaration on Sustainable Hydropower identifies a new set of principles recommendations to guide new development and enhance the sector’s contribution to the energy transition.
This congress draft of the declaration has now been superseded by the final version, which was launched at the conclusion of the World Hydropower Congress on 24 September 2021 after an extensive public consultation.
